Well, I can say that yes, it is normal for some women with PCOS. Do you know for sure if you have cysts on your ovaries? I believe that's usually the cause of ovarian pain, besides the possibility of cysts rupturing.
But beyond that, I'm not sure what to tell you...I know that some here have had surgery like ovarian drilling to help with their cysts/pain, so you should probably see if they'll chime in, but the least I can offer is sympathy!
(I don't know how bad your pain is but sometimes when I get it, I find using heat helps a lot.)

yes i had a cat scan/ultrasound and i do have cysts for certain. I'm going to try adding heat tonight. thanks for reading

meds: yasmin. prozac 20mg.
four months of lupron. its not as bad as everyone says.
diet: strict vegetarian. eat organic as much as possible. avoid dairy. unsuccessfully try to avoid carbs.
I guess i am fortunate not to have too much pain, though i do have multiple cysts on both ovaries. I hope you discuss this with your dr, and i'm sure if you look around this site or do a search, you'll find a lot more info. Best of luck to you!
