I'm currently 17weeks pregnant and my right side of my lower ab is killing me, it's ok if i lie down or sit but if i stand up or walk or even cough i have to hold my stomach. i can hear lil ones heart beat fine with a home doppler it hasn't changed and it's still moving is this pain really just streching could i have over done something walking around during the day?

My Mood: Points: 4,934.96 Bank: 314.40 Total Points: 5,249.36 | could be round ligament pain, I had some sharp pains myself. Also have you had any flu like symptoms like a fever? Cause your appendix is also in the lower right quadrant. I would mention it to the dr.--- ESPECIALLY if you are having flu symptoms that go along..
If its more of a ligament pain, then a warm shower would help me some, along with an occasional advil- with ok from dr...

My Mood: Points: 59,959.15 Bank: 13,017,917.04 Total Points: 13,077,876.20 | You could have even pulled that ligament. I would call the dr anyway just to be safe. Any kind of sharp or intense pain you should call.
I had a ton of round ligament pain (heck I still do) and a warm shower helped or a heating pad.

My Mood: Points: 7,051.78 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 7,051.78 | I mentioned it to her on my last appt which was thursday and she didn't seem to concerned about it i can't tell with the flu like symptoms because my wonderful dh gave me a cold i feel fine other then the cold it's not constant just when i move lots or after i pee if i have a really full bladder.

I am not taking the best prenatal pills and I believe most of my problems have been due to constipation. Don't get me wrong those round ligiments are bothering me too but I think it is all combined!!
