Pain after ovulation - help!!!

I'm not familiar enough with my own cycle yet to know if this is normal.

According to my temps - I ovulated about 5 days ago. The rest may be TMI - but I'm concerned and could use some advise.

Last night, BD with DH was painful. Today, I'm having all sorts of pain in that region. It feels like a combo of really bad constipation and a knife twisting around. Is this normal? What can I do to control the pain? Sorry for all the personal information - didn't know who else to ask. (BTW - not constipated - Met is doing her job just fine thank you ver much. Can't even leave for class right now because I'm visiting our bathroom regularly.)

I'm about ready to call an ambulance because of pain if DH doesn't get home from class in the next 15 minutes. I cannot figure out what this is.

I've had this a couple of times after my gonal-f cycles. I did go to the doctor who did an ultrasound and said I had excess fluid because of the ovulation. It went away after a few hours, but it felt exactly as you say. Felt like I had to go potty REALLY bad and like something was twisting. Was just progesterone fluid pushing against my already swollen ovaries.

It helped to go to the bathroom... but the pain got worse before it got better.
