Default Pain in lower-right abdomen???

hi! since last moth i've been suffering of this pain in the lower-right zone of my belly. it's not soooo painfull but i can say is constant and nasty, the intensity of a period pain. at first it was on-off and meal-related (more painful right after meals) then faded in a more constant but less painful one.

at first we thought it was a inflammated appendix because of the typical site of the pain but the blood works and a u/s ruled this hypotesis out. after a week the pain disappeared but now is back, in the same moment of my cycle, the week before af. (i am under BCP)
the u/s couldnt properly see the ovaries and i am now waiting for a transvaginal u/s.. in the meanwhile.....

any suggestion?
any similar experience?

i bet it's pcos related!!!!!!

+thanks in advance+

It could be a cyst. I was having the same problems months ago and was put on anti inflammatories which helped tremendously.

Another vote for cysts! I remember how hard it was for me to pin down the timing of pain, and intensity, because it kept changing depending on the cysts inflating/deflating (I am assuming that is what went on). For a long time the drs. thought I was crazy or something! I think the transvaginal ultrasound will tell a lot. Hang in there, hope you have relief soon.

It's funny, I'm experiencing this now. I just had my ultrasound on Wednesday, and there were no cysts. I have"bulky" ovaries, which just means they are larger than normal (about 2x the size). My doctor said that it might be a patch of endometreosis, but we will continue to monitor it. It is like yours, not so painful as much as just constant and I feel like something is there.
I thought for sure it was a cyst, as did my doctor. Good luck!

I've got this right now too! For the last 2 days it just felt like my womb was bloated/aching (similar to the feeling after hyCosy, bit like a period pain), but this morning the pain feels like it's shifted over to my right ovary too. As you say, it's not crucifying pain, just constant and pretty uncomfortable.

I suppose if it's still there by Monday I'll get myself to the docs.

I have been living with this extreme right lower abd pain for about a year now. I went to the stomach dr and he did all the oscopys imaginable and told me my stomach was irritated so he sent me on to the gyno to do a transvag and I have two huge CYSTS in my ovaries.

So she hands me BCP - I am still living with my pain. Has anything out there relieved your pain? I am in so much discomfort.

She asked me several q's about my bladder - I am wondering if my abd pain is because on of the cysts (she said I had several) are causing me to have bladder trouble.

That's how I was diagnosed. I didnt have my period for the longest time, and my abs hurt so bad I couldnt move. Since I was a virgin at the time I knew I wasn't pregnant...unless it was with the anti-christ or something so they handed me BC.

it was weird tho. ever since then my periods stopped. It was just like a light switched being turned on in my life.

ANOTHER VOTE FOR A CYST! I started getting it REAL bad, about a year ago. All the docs thought I was crazy. I had one tell me to double my zoloft and that something so small couldn't POSSIBLY cause me THAT much pain. Well, after a year of emergency rooms, hospital admissions, and more horrible docs, I finally found one that actually believed me and was willing to do a laparoscopy. What a godsend. I've been pain free for 5 months... although while switching bc it may be coming back. My advice? Find a doc that will listen, and DON'T TAKE CRAZY FOR AN ANSWER!!!
