i was dx with pcos last nov and since my surgery i've been in a lot of pain and my gyn says that it's just cysts rupturing and since my ovaries are a lot larger than they should be they are just getting irritated and stuff. so since then i've been in a lot of pain and my lurpon depot shot isn't working fast enough to stop the pain and when it does the pain just comes back when it's close to time for another shot. finally i went to cleveland to see a pcos specialist and she pretty much said that there is never pain with pcos and i was crazy because i expercience pain from it. while every other doctor i've gone to says that the pain is from my ovaries. so i'm very confused and don't know what i should do. do you experience this pain?
yes def I did experience a lot of pain in my lower stomach becuase of rupturing cysts..... was not nice; but then i went on bcp and met. and it eventually cleared up my cysts; the last ultrasound i had showed none. in the meantime though, try using advil for the pain; extra strength; it's the only thing that really worked for me.
