Default Pain ummm, down there. tmi, maybe

I've looked up many reasons for pain "down there" but i couldn't find anything similar to what i have. Its not "up in", its more like the labia and sometimes slightly under the skin. Its not constant, and in fact i can go weeks without it, sometimes it is just twinges and sometimes it hurts for hours. Its not debilitating, i can still do stuff. I'm not bleeding or having odd discharge. I had a pap test which i'm still waiting for the results (very nerve racking). I don't really have the "common symptoms" of cervical cancer but i'm scared to death this could be some kind of early symtom. The weirdest thing is sometimes i get the pain in the inside of my upper thigh. When i was having kidney stone problems i just "wrote it off" as something to do with that but now i don't think i have kidney stones (i could though) so i didn't think it was related to that. Any ideas? Anyone have anywhere near these symptoms? Oh and btw, i'm not pg. Some of the info i looked up said that could be the cause. What do ya think? TIA

It sounds like some kind of nerve damage. Maybe there's a nerve in your back somewhere that's been pinched that is affecting the area? Just a possibility. Have you had any back problems?

Have you changed any laundry detergents, bed sheets, feminine hygeine products, shaving gels, moisturizers, anything? Has your diet changed at all?

joy- how about labial varicosities? These are varicose veins that are on the labia.... they CAN be very painful... and they may or may not be visible all the time. Next time you're having the pain, try taking a mirror/having partner taking a look.... if they're visible, they pretty much resemble ones that appear on the legs..... maybe have your doc do a little investigating??? I have ONE nasty little varicose on my calf, and it does kinda the same thing... sometimes it hurts like the dickens, burning, pinching pain. I can usually see it then... others, I can't see it, and it doesn't bother me.
Just an idea.... =) Worth checking into before you worry yourself into a fit! =) HTH.
