 Painful boils - Hidradenitis Supurativa
I think I may have found something that helps with these!
I have been following some of the ideas off of the HS Yahoo groups for cleaning them.
I have been using hot compresses with baking soda. and it seems to help.
But the MAJOR thing I came across was the new Monistat medicated powder. I was not even using it for these. I was using it, along with the monistat anti-chafe cream and I really liked the way the powder felt, so I started putting it on my underarms as well as my thighs. It felt everything smooth feeling and my skin wasn't as sticky with the heat. Well, now a week later and all of the boils seem to be drying up. I still have them, but they are much smaller and nowhere near as painful.
