I don't know if you pray or not, but could you please keep us in your thoughts? We have been hearing rumblings of some of the orphanages in Liberia being investigated for child trafficking. Today there is a rumour that all adoptions are being halted while they investigate. I can't stand the thought of this. Dh is supposed to leave for Africa at the end of March, and Kacie is supposed to be coming home to us.
We have a call in to our contact from the orphanage and are waiting for a call back to clarify the situation. Meanwhile I'm in some kind of state over here.

Oh my! Thanks for the reminder that I neded to do an update here. It has been quite a week.
We found out Tuesday that it was all a rumour. BUT then Thursday we got an e-mail from our contact with the orphanage we are working with that indeed they are not signing any adoptions in Liberia right now. They don't know when they will resume and they have given a political reasons for it. One can't help but wonder if it is really because of the child trafficking rumours. So we spent Thursday night in prayer.
Friday morning I got the amazing news that our adoption was already signed in Liberia! So as soon as our Canadian documents are finished, dh will go get Kacie! Praise God!
