Question Pantene full and thick?

Has anyone tried Pantene Full and Thick shampoo and conditioner? My hair is starting to grow back in, but I'd really like it to look fuller....now! I've actually considered using a brow pencil to fill in a few spots....

never tried the pantene stuff. i´m using l´oreal regenium (2 euro/bottle), should be available outside of europe ... l´loreal claimed to have taken years for the formula.

a very good american product for thin hair would be nioxin bionutrients.

I've had good luck with the Matrix Amplify line.

I use the Pantene full and thick. I like it. Something that I love though is a product by Rusk. It is called thick. You spray it on your hair before you blow dry it. It gives me great texture and body. It lasts forever!! You have to buy it in a salon though, its about $12.00.

I personally don't like Pantene products. They make my hair too soft and flat.
But I have curly hair, and Pantene is not the shamp/cond to use.

I have curly hair too....so maybe Pantene's not for me. I have tried Matrix Amplify, it's a nice shampoo and conditioner.....I don't recall if my hair looked any thicker though. I should give it another shot.

I have used some Rusk products before, but not Thick. I don't blow dry anymore, so I'm not sure how it would go over. I also don't like to use anything on my roots, because it make the thinness more noticable.

Pantene is really bad for your hair. Ask just about any hair stylist in the know and they'll typically agree. (My best friend just about flipped when I told her I was using it. BTW - I loved it. Also, my best bud is a licensed stylist, esthetician, and nail tech, also works for a beauty supply company.

Yeah, I've heard it's not great for your hair. I'd used it a long time ago, when it just came out and really liked it. So, I think I'll pass on it....I don't want to do any damage to my hair! I need to keep everything I have.

I ended up buying a conditioner by La Coupe that's made for curly hair. I picked this one because I saw it in my friend's bathroom. Seemed like as good a reason as any other!

After trying many volumizing shampoos/conditioners, I find that I need to usually change them after several months as they just don't seem to work the magic I thought they did after first using them.

My absolute favorite at the moment is the Suave volumizing S/C. My hair is super long, straight and fine...so I find it doesn't weight it down at all unless I over condition it! Also, since its so dirt cheap, its easier on pocket book since I wash my hair every day.

Another one thats decent is made from Dove.

Everyone has always loved my hair. I think its one of my best assets. I also believe you don't need to buy products from a salon to have great hair. The last hairdresser I went to I stopped going because she really insulted me. She told me from previous appointments that my hair was so beautiful. In the middle of my cut, she asked me what kind of S/C I used so I told her. She went on about this story how a farmer used to always come in for a trim and he used store bought S/C. She then proceeded to tell me that she didn't waste the $$ on her own S/C and used to wash his hair with dishsoap, because that was better than store bought stuff he always used.

Not only did I not buy any products from her, which I know was her intent, but she also lost a customer. I've never gone back to her.

Yeah I like salon stuff, but with my length of hair, washing it everyday, and the amount of S/C I use, I'd be spending wayyyyyy more money than I have. So why not use products that work well, still give you great hair, and you have the $$ to spend on other stuff

Sorry for the rant, I guess I'm just avoiding getting ready for a wedding I'm going to solo today since my date can't make it to....lol. Its a Chinese/Korean wedding and I think I will be the only Caucasion there, sitting by myself. Oh the joys of being single!

Wow! What a snobby hair stylist! That's so rude. I'll admit that I like salon stuff, but it is quite expensive. Not to mentiont that if you end up with stuff you don't like, you've spent a fortune. At least if it's drug store stuff, you don't lose out so much. I just bought some styling stuff from a drugstore that was about $5. So far I think I like it better than the $20 salon stuff I have!

I've never tried Dove S/C, but I'll give it a shot next time. I've heard good things. I haven't seen Sauve around much, but I have used it before and did like it.

Something for you ladies having hair loss.... there is one product that is pretty much available everywhere that not only smells good but in my experience has helped 3 people I know save the hair they had and also through nutirents encourage regrowth. That is the Aussie Mega line of hair care products. When my mom had chemo for her cervical cancer etc her hair of course was falling out by the handfulls. Then she started using these products and they even upped her dosage levels and her hair started to respond. In addition my grandmother and her sister have had breast cancer and had radiation and they started using it and had the same result. I think all the natural herbs and extracts in their products are really good for your hair. I've no hard scientific data to give you concerning this, just our experiences. At least for my hair and its falling out, I have really curly hair and I can hide it quite well... but since I've started using the conditioners, specifically the 3 minute detangler and Aussie Moist, my hair isn't falling out so much and this was prior to my therapies for PCOS which just began. So give them a try!

Thanks for the tip! I've seen these before, but never tried them. I have curly hair too, but haven't been able to hide it as I'd like to. It is starting to regrow a bit, but I'd love to make it look thicker in the meantime.
