Default Pap Smear During Period?

So I have a pap scheduled for next Wednesday.

Lucky me, I started spotting today (isn't it great when you can't predict ANYTHING?).

I've had 5-day periods before, but it's been a couple months for me and it will probably run over 5 days.

So should I call and reschedule? It's a followup pap to a colposcopy (granted, this is like six or seven months later when it should have been three months later).

I had the same issue a few months ago when i was due for a pap smear but had AF. The doctor put it off for a week and said to come in for the appointment anyway if I was still bleeding so she could give me something to stop it and then reschedule pap smear again.
However this was after 3 week long bleeds in 6 weeks, so my circumstances were a little different.

Yes, I would reschedule. I went in to get a pap a couple of years ago when my periods were still completely unpredictable, if they showed at all. And when the gyn started the pap, she had to stop because she said I had started spotting, didn't even start have AF until 2 or 3 days later, but it had to be put off.

My doctor would not do my pap until about two days after my period ended. So I would call them back and reschedule
