Default Paraguard + Met= Migraines and Af forever?

Ok, I just started taking met again after about 1 1/2 years (2000mg) daily. I had a paraguard iud inserted back in march, and have had af for an entire month. I called my ob's office and was told that bleeding and spotting is normal for the first couple of months. I now have terrible acne on my back, dandruff, and migraine headaches when af becomes heavier. Is anyone else experiencing this? Should I call my endo to see if my medication should be changed. I start school soon and don't want this to mess up study time. I am 247 pounds 5'8". and am now starting to consider lap band surgery. I feel so stressed and have mood swings that were not there before. Does anyone have some advise? Please help.
