Question Parissa????

Has anyone tried the Parissa wax for course hair? I just ordered some I am hoping that it works so I won't have to shave everyday. I only want to use it on my face. I don't mind shaving everywhere else.

No wax has ever worked on my facial hair because it's too thick. I also tried an extra strength wax with no luck. Give it a try though, it could work

I have used it, and I loved it! I bought the blue pack which is specifically for facial and bikini hair. You might find the container a bit small but believe me you'll have more than enough. The texture is light, consequently it's really easy on the skin and it grips the smaller hairs nicely Unlike all other waxes I've used this doesn't make me breakout horribly and the azulene oil provided helps with that too. Oh and it cools/dries quite fast - it helps if you're in a hurry. I think it's the same kind of wax they use in some professional salons.

The drawback is you need to heat the wax on the stove... unfortunately it's messy and inconvenient (i'm used to microwaveable wax)! I almost discontinued because of that, but the results are much better than with the other wax I tried. This is possibly the best wax I've ever used on my face. It's the ideal wax for coarse and curly hair imho. I've moved and I can't find it in my new location, so I use a wax designed for body and face. It does the job but it's not ideal

anyway I hope you like parissa!

Thanx for the input everyone.

Flowerchild, I bought it online cause I have never seen it before, the site was iherb.com. I also saw a warmer for parissa.....to me it looked like a candle warmer. So I am going to try using mine. It sold for 12.99 with the parissa name on the warmer. I thought that was interesting. Hope this helps

Funny, I just heard of this brand today and ordered some of the cold wax strips for my bikini/underarms.

I finally got my wax kit (Parissa Hot Wax) and I LOVE IT!!!! I used it on my eyebrows last night. It is just so much easier when you can get it all at once instead of one at a time like with tweezerz. My husband was surprised with how fast I did them too. And to warm the wax, I just used my candle warmer. It worked great. And you don't have to sorry about buying the strips to use on the wax because this wax forms its own strip. YAY. But yeah, if anyone is looking for a wax brand, this is great. I have very course hair it just has to be a little long to be able to use it.
