Default (partial) Inositol success for gf

Hi guys my gf started taking inositol 5 days ago and lo and behold her cravings for sweet things have all but gone. previously, she used to need something sweet after every meal but now she doesnt even say anything. there have been occasions where she has thrown tantrums because she didnt get chocolate or ice cream and actually forced me to drive to the nearest shop just to get some.

yesterday we walked through the supermarket and made sure we went past every section that had a temptation (bakery, confectionary, ice cream) to see if she was telling the truth and she didnt even flinch. she just walked straight through and said she didnt feel like eating any of those things. its nuts, she says she feels like a new person. her metabolisms have boosted, her appetite has decreased and i am sure she is losing some inches from her waist too.

she is taking about 2200mg per day which i think is quite a lot for someone her size (115lbs) but its definitely making a difference. im very pleased for her because her moods have improved too. she doesnt eat as much now either. i think this shows she did have some level of insulin resistance.

i might order her some DCI now to see how that works for her.

IN my experience, the regular Insoitol helped with cravings more than the DCI! I take both.

Just wanted to say how I understand her! I too have done exactly the same, and I am IR. It's weird how irrational we can behave at times for some comforting sugar! I take lots of supplements too and it is helping a bit so far with the cravings, but am waiting impatiently for the Inositol Powder I have ordered. I hope it will work for me like it did for your girlfriend! Good luck, Maria
