Kelly - I was told 3 months & then 6 months. The reason there is so much conflicting info out there is two fold. One, they don't have much research on PMP's and base most of the recommendations on Full Molar Pregnancies. Two - because of the required monthly maintenance blood work, a lot of women stopped going in for the blood work and just started their TTC process on their own. The reason why Drs are lowering the wait time is because of these women. There is very little evidence that they have come back to develop Gestational trophoblastic disease. So, in short, 6 months is the standard wait time, but 3 months is not out of the question. If I was able to conceive with out medical intervention, I would only wait 3 months (if at the time I felt emotionally ready). HTH

Thank you all for your encouragement. I actually found a CMP and PMP board on the baby center website and it has been extremely helpful. There are around 70 members all at different stages of this and they have been extremely knowledgeable about the issues with PMP and CMP.
    I can't post URLS bc I haven't made 15 posts, but anyways,
I would highly recommend joining the board if you have experienced this. Let me know if you have difficulty finding it.

im so sorry for what you been through. i went throught somthing close to what you did. i found out iwas was pregnent when i was six weeks, at 12 weeks i had my first ultrasound and everything was fine the heart beat was perfect my baby was growing normally. i had another ultrasound when i turnd 5 months the ultrasound tech was looking at the screen and had a confused look on his face. i askd is everything ok and he said dont worry about it. I didnt think anything of it i thought if somthing was wrong he would have told me, a week later i had my doc appointment we heard the babys heart beat and he said i was doing great and that my baby was fine that every thing in the ultrasound was ok. two months later the day i turnd 7 months i went into labor. they gave me an ultrasound and the saw cyst in my babys brain and in her abdomen, they said she wouldent survive. imagine having your baby inside you for 7 months and for them to tell you shes going to die i was deveastated. i went into labor had a babygirl she was born alive. she was alive for about ten minuts, i held her and then she was gone. i named her monica eyvett. after they told me i had had a partial molar preg. it was the hardest thing ever. i kknow what your going through and i just wanted to say dont give up, stay hopeful. its been almost two years and im going to start trying to have another baby. i pray everyday that everything goes ok, now that i have read your story i will pray for you too. god bless you
