Default party foods, need suggestions

Hello ladies, next Sunday is DH's birthday, and we are having alittle party for him. OUr friend is making barbecued chicken wings, but I am plannin on bringing a salad so I don't overdo iton the wings. But i would also like to bring a few extra things besides that for some variety. But i want to make it somewhat WW friendly while being tasty. Any suggestions???

hmm.. you could make Chicken Cheese Ball..

2 8oz. boxes cream cheese (you could get low fat or no fat)
1 5 Oz. can chunk chicken
1 packet Ranch dressing mix (again, low fat if you want)
1/2 cup crushed pecans

Flake chicken, mix all ingredients together. Refridgerate until you can mold into a ball and roll in crushed pecans. Serve with veggies or crackers (i use reduced fat wheat thins) for dipping.

I've always been a big fan of whole wheat crackers and different cheeses with lean meats. Sliced fruits and/or veggies with some sort of dip is always a good option, and that keeps it simple. Plus, finger foods are just fun!

This one is my favorite and it isn't *too* unhealthy if you use fat free cream cheese:

1 can crescent roll dough
1 package cream cheese
1/2 packet ranch dressing mix
any veggies you like--I use green peppers, red peppers, and green onions

Grease a cookie sheet and roll out the crescent roll dough. Press the little triangles together at the edges so you have a "crust". Bake the crescent roll crust until it's done according to the directions on the can. While it's baking, soften the cream cheese and mix the ranch dressing mix in it. Chop up the vegetables into small pieces. Let the crust cool, then spread the cream cheese mixture on top and sprinkle the veggies on top of that. Chill in the fridge, then cut into bite size squares.

Take Amanda's recipe and add some shredded cheese on top - veggie pizza a FAVORITE of mine!
A party necessity in our family is pumpernickel bread and spinach dip. I have no idea how healthy that is.
