Does anyone know of anything that will work for a pasta substitute? My husband is allergic to pasta. I have used egg plant for lasagna and that is delicious. I have heard that spaghetti squash can be used for spaghetti but have not been able to find any to try it. Anything else would be appreciated. Thank you

i use wheat free pasta which doesnt take the same, but is better than nothing

I eat my spaghetti sauce over squash and zucchini. I just slice them, cook them in a pan with a little olive oil until they're soft and season with some salt and pepper. They actually don't have a lot of flavor to me which is ok because my sauce has all the spices and good stuff anyway! Sometimes (when I feel lazy) I just eat the sauce over toasted whole wheat bread which is pretty good too.

Is he gluten intolerant? I have used brown rice pasta and it's fabulous! It's so much easier to digest.
