I'm not on it, but honestly I can think of two big pros and cons.
You don't have to worry about taking a pill everyday, at least.
On the other hand, I've been told by NPs that the patch carries the highest risk of blood clots amongst the hormonal birth control methods. That's enough to turn me off.

I used a different hormonal patch product. I did not like the "not staying on" factor. I use the Nuva Ring (Hormonal Contraceptive) and I like the ring style delivery system a lot better than the patch style delivery system. I believe that you have to "do something" about the patch every week but you only have to "do something" about the ring once (or really twice) a month (- once to put it in, 21 days later, take it out, wait a week . . . .). I set a reminder of my computer, which makes it really easy.
BTW Navi, thanks for the info on the patch and the risk of blood clots. I am not sure if the risk is similar with the ring or not - I plan to ask my doctor!
I was on the patch for a little while and it caused my blood pressure to go up and I had horrible nausea. Like a previous poster stated, I have also heard of someone getting pregnant while on the patch. It didn't work for me and I wasn't a fan.
