Hi, girls! Im Jennifer 22, DH Frank 27. We have 2 beautiful little girls Kayla (12-27-00) and Kaitlyn (03-20-03). We are currently TTC#3. With my oldest I got pregnant on the pill with kayla, and kaitlyn I went off the pill on june 22 and conceived around july 4th. This time I went off the pill in june got preggy in july lost it in august b/c it was a tubal. I was unable to "pass" it, so in october I was given provera to "start" my cycle. I have had multiple U/S to moniter the tube b/c the tube kept bursting. Each U/S showed cysts. After blood work and more blood work, on top of the U/S my doctor made the diagnosis of PCOS.
This is very dishearting to me. Im not sure how PCOS works, I have done research on the internet and some things contradict each other. I was wondering if anyone else was diagnosed with PCOS after conceiving without any trouble?
The doctor has me on actos 30mg QD, and suggested clomid in Feb? thank you for any input!
I was just diagnosed in October, although I have been having symptoms for about 3-4 years. Before that, none that I can really speak of. I have 2 children who were both conceived without any problems at all. I got pregnant with my first about 6 months after going off of the pill and with the second about 1 month after going off of the pill. We aren't having anymore children at all, so I can't really give you any answers as to assistance concieving though. This site is a wonderful source of "real person" information, which I personally find much more helpful than all of the research and medical jargon. I completely agree that it is very conflicting!
