Hi..I got the b/w results today and the numbers actually did look normal. Do you have any idea, then, what could be causing excess hair growth, late o, etc.?

My b/w was 'normal' too, but i have ridiculous battles with acne (i am 27) and gained about 20 libs after coming off the pill. I also have no 'O' without meds. Plus, there are cysts on my ovaries. So my doc diagnosed PCOS based on my symptoms rather than the bloodwork. I also adopted a lower carb/ LOW sugar diet and am on MEtformin. Both changes have made a HUGE difference in me. The diet helped me lose the weight fast, and the meds make me have more energy and my face is getting better.

Do you know what cycle day your blood work was done? This can affect your results...just a thought.
If its any help, I have had both abnormal and normal blood work over the years. I have also had ultrasounds that show PCO and don't show PCO!
I went to the doc this week and I think she is trying to undiagnose me - more blood work later this month.

Good luck...this whole PCOS can be v confusing at times...
