I was watching a show called Birth Day on the Discovery Health Channel last night. Their stories are usually about women with difficult pregnancies. They had a women with PCOS that was having bleeding throughout her pregnancy. The Doctors said she had Placenta Previa. From how they explained it, it is when the placenta implants into the uterus at an abnormal location and previa is when the placenta implants partially over the opening of the uterus into the vagina. They said that this can cause bleeding during the pregnancy. Well anyway she ended up delivering 6 weeks early.Just thought I'd share.
