A blog is like a web type diary you can keep. It gives you the opportunity to see what goes on in the life of fellow pcosers without making a bunch of off topic threads. Just a way to socialize I guess.

Eva if you are interested in starting one blogspot.com is free and really the easiest to use. I find that it helps me get stuff off my chest.
