Not sure if anyone lives in NJ but if so, you're in luck! The name of the facility is IVF NJ but they treat women with PCOS. It says under IVFNJ, "PCOS Center of NJ" I am not TTC and I made sure to tell the woman over the phone this and she said that they treat women with PCOS who do not wish to conceive. They offer soooooooooo many services and treatments, everything from Egg Donation to Gestational Carrier....Egg freezing, Testing and diagnostics (male and female factor) you name it, they have it! It is a state of the art facility and in NJ they have 4 locations, Somerset, Lawrenceville, Freehold, and Annadale. You can view their website at www.ivfnj.com Best of luck!!

Hi Bailey, glad to hear you are so close!!! Yes, they do accept insurance, I have Blue Cross, Blue Shield and they accept mine. I called my insurance also to see what type of treatments they cover and all blood work, ultrasounds for pcos are covered. As far as fertility treatments are concerned, I'm not sure what exactly they cover. Nice to meet a fellow NJ girl = )

there is the link for the place I went. We were just getting ready to start IUI with them and we found out we got pg with the last round of clomid from my regular OB. Since I got my BFP after my initial consult with them I still got 4 weeks of monitoring (till 8weeks) and got an ultrasound with the Dr. at the fertility institute every week. They were great and I would reccomend them to anyone. It's in Westwood NJ....don't know if that is close to you. I have Aetna PPO and they took it

Amanda (27) mom to Cooper (born April 2006) Dx: May 2005 after many months of trying and not getting any results. 1st round of clomid:50mg no ovulation, second round: 100mg BFP....my sweet baby boy
Bailey, I'm in Bordentown, NJ (next to Trenton) so their Lawrenceville office is about 20 mins away from me.
JrzGirl - have you had an appt there yet? Are you planning to see Dr. Natofsky? If so can you let me know what you think of him? I'm going back and forth between IVF NJ and the SIRM Center in Shrewsbury, which my friends used for their IUI and IVF. I'm leaning more towards IVF NJ though because they're closer.
Hi Heather, my appoint is in Oct. I'm pretty sure it's the 16th. I'm only going for the treatment of pcos, I'm not currently ttc. My appointment is with Susan Treiser. I will definately let you know how it goes!

Am also a Jersey girl here. I found a fab PCOS doc here at Deleware Valley Institute of Fertility and Genetics. Here is the link: http://www.dvifg.com/
They do everything from fertiltiy to early pregnancy monitoring. But, most importantly for us, they focus and treat PCOS. Until my PCO was "under control" would not proceed with fertility therapy. They offer genetic counseling, dietary counseling, family counseling and have one doc, Dr. Cheung Wu, is a specialist in PCO. He is fab, fab, fab, can not say enough good things about him or his group.
They are a large practice in terms of number of patients, space, etc. but, you never feel like a number or like you are in a meat market. I feel very blessed to have come to know them and to be treated by them.
This was my second RE group, the first one did nothing about my PCO and I gained 45 pounds in a year of treatment with them. With this group, the first few months I lost 30 of those pounds and conceived my DS. He is now 20 months old, I am back to my pre-wedding (pre-IF therapy) weight and now pregnant with #2.
If you are RE shopping, or just looking for a good PCOS specialist, I highly, highly recommend them!

Jennie,
I am in South Jersey and considering switching REs. I am currently at South Jersey Fertility. Would you mind telling me where you were treated before?
Also, I have already spend many months on diet, exercise, and acupuncture. Do you think Dr. Wu would take that into consideration? Does he even prescribe metformin? What treatment worked for you, just the diet and exercise?
