Default PCOS doctor in Ottawa, Ontario (or nearby...)

Hi cysters,

Still a newbie here, all my details are below. While I do see a fertility specialist right now, I am also interested in getting a general workup for other PCOS stuff, as well as some fertility advice from someone who specializes in PCOS. I live in Ottawa, but for a specialist could try to travel to Toronto, Montreal, Kingston etc. I have a very understanding GP who could probably get me a referral if needed. I don't really have the $ for a private clinic....

Thanks in advance!

Default Procrea Clinic

There is a PCOS specialist in the Procrea clinic in Montreal, however because of this EVERY doctor there is well versed on the subject (you won't be able to get in with the specialist, trust me there). The down side is that you *MUST* be trying to concieve to get help there and they like you to do your testing either with them (Mucho Money needed) or with Hopital Saint-Luc (which is primarily french, in fact they have the legal right to refuse to treat you in English but rarely use this right). Procrea is fantastic, especially my doctor (Dr St-Michel), the separate the TTCs from the PREGs so that you are not sitting in the same waiting room across from someone full term and not shy about it.

If you need more info, give me a holler.
