I live just south(ish) of Harrisburg.... anyway I see a doctor in Philadelphia who is absolutely wonderful.... I wouldn't hesitate to tell anyone to drive a distance to see her. e-mail me if you have any questions or want her contact info.
I've heard good things about a Dr Richard Legro in Hershey as well. I have no personal experience though to share.
Have you attempted to do a search??
Good Luck!

I am also looking for a doctor in the Lancaster, Harrisburg, or Philadelphia area. My health insurance covers some stuff and the only "in network" providers I can find are:
Reproductive Science Institute of Sub Phil. (Office near Reading)
Advanced Center for Infertility (Harrisburg)
Can anyone speak to these fertility specialists?
If not, who do you recommend in Central PA or Philadelphia?
Thanks,
Amie

I personally recommend Dr. Katherine Sherif and Dr. Minassian who is the Director for Drexel Fertilitly. Dr. Sherif is wonderful and I highly recommend her. I think both Dr. Sherif and Dr. Minassian run the Center for PCOS.
I went to RSI in Wayne when I got pregnant with my first son. I wouldn't go back. I love Dr. Munabi but they missed a lot of things the shouldn't have and I had a much better experience with Dr. Minassian.
I also HIGHLY highly recommend Dr Sherif as well! I live in Lancaster, and make the drive to Philly to see her... and like I said in my post above. I wouldn't hesitate to tell anyone to do the same!
unfortunately I didn't have much luck finding a doctor in or around Lancaster.... I saw several... and certainly wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
I understand adl that you have health insurance 'issues'. Unfortunately I have not heard of either of the centers you talked about.

I have been looking for a doctor in Ohio, but I will travel to see the best doctor!! Is there anyway that you can e-mail me the doctor's number, and location. tjones433@aol.com.
Thank you for the information. I will check out these specialists specifically. I hope they have coverage in my network.
FYI, I have also heard recommendations for Mainline Fertility and Northern Fertility both outside of Philly. Anyone with experience with these?
How long did you have to wait for the initial consultation?
Thanks again!
Amie
