I am looking for a Dr. who knows about PCOS in the Maryland, Washington D.C. or Virginia area.... does anyone know of one? Thank you in advance!!

I have an OBGYN in Reston, VA that is awesome and very knowledgable about PCOS. Dr. Manisha Patel (group of 4 women in the practice) - 703.796.0200. I also have an RE with Shady Grove that I love - Dr. Brown in Fair Oaks...

I'm so glad to see someone recommending a doctor in the Northern VA area. I had the worst experience ever today! I went to see a doctor in Alexandria who wouldn't even answer my questions and told me that without fertility treatments I will probably never ovulate on my own and that I will always have to take provera to get a period. Not happy but thanks for the recommendation.

So glad to help! They are great, I like my doc - Dr. Patel, but when you get pregnant you see all 4, I also really liked Dr. Santiago. Both were so awesome during my miscarriage as well. Don't stay with the crappy Alexandria doc, they should answer ALL your questions, and never should they be so negative. Look at all of us here that are pregnant!
