Sorry not in Fresno, but you could call Sutter West Women Health in Davis and they could probably recommend some one. My dr there is Barbara Fox.

Oooh girls! I hope you still check this thread! I see Dr. Michael Synn in Clovis. His office is adjacent to Clovis Community Hospital. He is awesome, and he will treat you even if you aren't trying to get pregnant. I love him. On my first visit I was so nervous and scared and frustrated and I totally started bawling and he was very kind to me. He delivered a friend's baby (her regular doc was on vacation) and she said that he actually held her hand when she was in pain before she got her epidural!

His office number is 559-299-7700.

Red face Gastric Bypass!!!

Hello Cysters,
Ok back in 2006 I was reffered to Dr. Michael Synn, I've heard nothing but great things about him. At the time he was really busy and couldn't see my untill 3 months out. So i decided to see his Nurse Practitioner (Misty). She was awsome and down to earth. She requested all kinds of blood work which finally led up to my diagnostics of PCOS. She told me that they will do everything they can to try and get us pregnant but one of her main concerns was my weight. She asked if I've struggled with weight loss and have I been trying to loose weight. She opened my mind about getting the gastric bypass, she told me that they see soooo many patients that have PCOS and go through with the gastric bypass and end up pregnant like 1 yrs down the road with out treatment. She told me to look into it and see what I thought. Being that I am 340 lbs and 25, I felt like i could do it on my own. I started doing a little research on what PCOS is and I discovered that loosing weight is hard, but it's 10X's harder when you have this PCOS and insulin resistance. I haven't had the surgery yet, but I am on my way. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me. god bless and i hope this helps some of you!!!

thank you!!!
