PCOS drs. in Louisiana?

Hello ladies,

I am in the New Orleans metro area, and I'm looking for a doctor. I'm not trying to conceive yet, but I am trying to find a doctor who can help me cope with the acne and hair growth (which has increased lately, sigh). I'd love to hear any suggestions of doctors within two hours' drive of New Orleans.

I posted basically the same thing yesterday . . and today I saw your post. I am in Metairie right next to New Orleans and am looking for someone to help me sort out my issues also. If you found someone, please let me know. If you didn't, hopefully between the both of us, someone will suggest a good dr. Good Luck in your search.

Hey -- I replied to your original post. I am seeing a nurse practitioner on the Northshore.

Any other dr. recommendations from the ladies on the board are of course welcome :-)

I am on the Northshore too. I have heard great things about The Fertility Institute (they have a website but I can't post websites yet, Google it) particularly Dr. Dunaway.
