Red face PCOS for Dummies

I just bought PCOS for dummies from amazon.com and it's on it's way but, I couldn't find any reviews for it. Has anyone read it? I got it becaus I have other For Dummies books and really like them.

there aren't any reviews on amazon? I thought I had read a bunch of reviews for that book on there...mostly good. I just got it on Saturday...so I haven't had a chance to read through it too much. from flipping through the book, it has a bunch of basic info on PCOS (most I already knew, some that I didn't...the "PCOS through the lifestages" section was interesting/frustrating, but it's good to know what lays ahead, I guess), as well as a GI diet plan with tons of recipes. it was written for the UK, so the recipes aren't all ones I'd use, or am at all familiar with, but they look interesting. it really is more of a "diet" book than anything else...only the first 42 pages or so are about PCOS, the rest is all about the GI diet.

I love it. Its everything I wanted to know all in one place and clearly set out - I knew a lot of the stuff in the book already, but its a great reference!

There are reviews on there now regarding this book. I was curious about the book and buying it and saw there are some reviews on there. You all might go check it out before deciding to purchase...

There is also other helpful books that I found on Amazon.com regarding PCOS as well.....might be worth checking into those too...

Default Other books to read..

There is an Author on there named Elizabeth Lee Vliet and all of her books are very interesting and enlightening and I suggest if you have not read any of her stuff, to pick a book or two of her up and give them a try. She gives great insight into womens health/hormones/PCOS/ etc.... do a search of her name on Amazon.com and it will bring of a slew of her books...

Enjoy!
