Is anyone out there in their early to mid twenties are TTC with PCOS and having any success??? It would really help to hear some inspiring stories from people similar to me.
Hey msntee1. My name is Andrea and I am 24yes old. Ive been diagnosed with PCOS for about 2 years now, and have been ttc for about 6months. I am currently not on any medications, but i have visited reproductive endocrinologists. Based on their assessments and lab work from m and my partner, the recommended that we go for IUI. He has a below normal sperm count and motility. But we have decided to try some natural remedies and medicine before I put my body through all of the standard meds like clomid, metformin, and fomara.
i wish you the best of luck. Lots of baby dust to ya!!

Hi all! My name is Maggie. I'm 23. My husband (24) and I have been ttc since Sept '08. Diagnosed with PCOS in Jan '09. Started Met 850mg on May 6th. I'm having a lot of nausea which the doc said was a side effect. Does anyone else have this too? How long after starting Met will it go away? What helps to make it go away?
We're both 23, TTC for 10 mo. now, starting Clomid next week. Crossing fingers and toes.

My name is Kandice. I am 25 (26 on June 2) and I was diagnosed with PCOS last may (2008). I have been trying to get pregnant for four years. Somedays are sad but most days are good. I still have a fresh since of expectation. I have been on metformin twice before and I hated it. It did make me feel extremely nauseated (hope I spelled that right ). It seems like it took forever for me to adjust and then when I did my doctor increased my dosage. I'm getting ready to start my first clomid cycle and I'm a little nervous. Anyone have any input on side affects?
Hi, I was diagnosed at 17 and am now almost 22. DH is 23 and we've been married for almost 3 years. We got married on Sept. 30th 2006 and have been ttc since May '07 so we've been trying for a little over 2 years.
No results yet unfortunately but I'll be seeing the doc tomorrow to see about starting Metformin. I'm hoping the side effects won't be too severe because I'd be starting the pills tomorrow night and I'm leaving for vacation on Saturday. I don't want to be sick the whole trip, especially since we're gonna be camping.
Hi, I'm not in my 20s (well out of them in fact...i'm 35), but I wanted to give you a bit of hope. I have been pregnant 4 times. My first 3 ended in miscarriage, this one is the only one that has progressed the furthest. I am currently 3 months pregnant. While this formula might not work for everyone, it has enabled me to get pregnant without even trying. Metformin and weightloss are my formula for pregnancy. I lost 40lbs and was on met with the first 3 and became pregnant without even trying. With this one, I lost 85lbs and stayed on my met and 100mgs of aspirin. My periods went from a 38 day to a 28 day cycle. Again, this might not work for everyone, but it really worked for me.

Im 21 years old, DBF is 25. I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 17 when af never came...still hasn't not on its own anyway. Im on met(500mg) and BCP(tri-sprintec) . DBF and I are not actively ttc, he recently informed me that he isn't ready. (he has 2 children of his own dd3 and ds7) we plan to ttc in 2011 when i am finished with school and im okay with that bc i need some time to get my butt in gear. My baby deserves a healthy environment to grow and develop in.
Maggie the s/e of met wont last forever. Mine only lasted about a week. hang in there hun.
