My Mood: Points: 3,556.14 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 3,556.14 | PCOS & Endo: Anyone have a success story? I need to hear the positive right now. Has anyone had a successful pregnancy even with PCOS and Endo? How long did you try? How did you get pregnant?
I have been trying 6 years and did 6 rounds of Clomid. My doctor just did a lap and found stage 2/3 endo. We are going to finish this cycle hoping for a miracle and then try 3 Clomid/IUI cycles. ANYONE have any success with PCOS/Endo naturally or with the Clomid/IUI?
Please help me feel some hope! |

My Mood: Points: 3,861.72 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 3,861.72 | Hi I have a positive story and have PCOS and endometriosis. I tried for 9 yrs did 7 rounds of clomid. Was advised by my gyny to go to fertility clinic and they recommended IVF, and said we could try IUI but the fertility specialist said he thinks its a false economy, ie couple spend lots on numerous IUI's and then have to have IVF anyway. Everyones case is different, and depends where you live as in do you have to pay, I had to pay for everything as in Ireland it is not covereed by health nsurance.
You would need to ask your specialist what they think. I responded very well to clomid as in I ovulated but my story is long and more complicated than just endo and pcos, so maybe you are not ovulating and you may only need clomid.
Good luck with it. I have a 15mth old boy now, so you never know. I never imagined I could have a baby so never left it rule my life so I recommend don't think of it as trying. Just carry on as if there is no problems and who knows |

We conceived our son after 45 cycles, and were successful with Clomid and IUI. My pregnancy was very healthy...In fact I never felt better in my life. We have been TTC for the past 4 yrs since he was born and succeeded another time through IVF, but lost that baby at 6 weeks. We are back at it again with a new IF specialist who also specializes in endo. He did a laporoscopy on me 6 weeks ago (my third in 5 years), and removed a huge endometreoma that was overtaking my ovary. He was able to save the ovary itself and cleaned up the rest of my insides the best he could. He put something over my ovaries and uterus to help ward off new lesions and now we are attempting IUI again with Femara/Ovidrell combo. Hoping this will do the trick.
I wish you success in getting your miracle(s) and relief from the PCOS and Endo. Don't lose faith.

My Mood: Points: 3,556.14 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 3,556.14 | Turns out I am now my own success story. The cycle after my lap, we ended up doing injectables after I didn't respond to the Femara. Now, I am 4 weeks and 3 days pregnant!
Thanks everyone!
