Hello. I was wondering if anyone knows if PCOS is in anyway related to Etopic (Tubal) pregnancies. I was D/X with PCOS in 2001. Last year I had a nasty Etopic pregnancy. My tube burst open, I had blood going to my stomach and almost died in the hospital. After the surgury, I asked the doctor if it had anything to do with me having PCOS, but she never gave me a straight answer. I would like to know. my fiancee and I are ttc but we both are scared-to-death of having another tubal pregnancy. Thank you very much!

I am currently on my second IVF cycle. I had an ectopic pregnancy in june after IVF. I did not have any surgery, I did injections of methotrexate. I am not sure if PCOS is related to or causes a tubal pregnancy. I am sorry for your loss, good luck with your TTC journey. I am here if you need me.
