Hi Ladies,
Just curious if any of you have ever had periods of time where your PCOS symptoms are well under control and you feel great, then suddenly your symptoms worsen or re-appear? All without any significant changes in lifestyle or meds?
I have been on 1500mg of Met since October, and my life has DRAMATICALLY improved. I've lost 30lbs, no more foggy brain, anxiety/panic is under control, tons more energy etc..
However, this week, my PCOS symptoms seem to be raging...my hair is falling out like there's no tomorrow, I'm STARVING all the time and I have a noticeable increase in anxiety.
Do you think I'm having some hormonal fluctuation or something? My second spontaneous AF (thank you Met!) was last week.
Just curious if anyone else has ever had this happen and how you addressed it.
Thanks in advance Ladies!
Amanda

Have you had your thyroid levels checked? Just a thought as the symptoms you mention can also be related to thyroid issues.
Best of luck.

i know as my body adjusted to some of the meds, my symptoms would seem to get worse. However, when we finally found the right dosage of me for me and I started taking supplements, as well I started feeling decent most of the time. Still though, whenever AF come sto town, I am not a happy camper it is very painful and I am not pleasent to be around
