thanks for that! me and my mother now think that she had undiagnosed PCO and i am wondering if at least 2 of my little sisters have it too, but they are probably too young to test just yet (15 and 17 years old)

At 15 and 17 you should make sure they are tested for diabetes, cholesterol, etc. Even at that age some things might be showing up. If they have AN be sure to get them evaluated for IR. My DD is 3 and we have done an IR and a diabetes test.
