Default PCOS/Growth Spurt/Puberty

I'm 18 years old and I was diagnosed with PCOS. I've been on glucofage (sp?) for about 2 months now. I was on regular birth control but they upgraded it to Yaz. It seems like my periods are becoming more and more normal. Lately I've noticed that my shoes are becoming smaller, I'm a little taller and I've been having stomach cramps like crazy. Does this mean I might actually be hitting my growth spurt now that my body is becoming more and more normal? (I'm only 5'1".) Or does puberty and growing have nothing to do with PCOS?

Appreciate any input!
