As of now *fingers crossed* at 5 1/2 months, I am not considered high risk. I do have high blood pressure, that is being controlled with Methyldopa (Aldomet). I was on Metformin and Byetta when I got pregnant, although neither drug was being used as a fertility treatment (I was using it only to help control and regulate my PCOS). I'm still on both, and doing great. Hope this helps some To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

The PCOS didn't really even come up in the discussions with the OB. I do think that the metformin drastically lowers your chance of early miscarriage...I took it until I was 14 weeks pregnant...per 2 different drs orders! GL!

It does put you at higher risk of developing those problems, but it doesn't make you high risk automatically.
My first pregnancy I wasn't really high risk until I developed high bp around 30 wks or so.
My second I had no problems whatsoever and never went high risk.
Now after having 2 m/c's, plus I had high bp and prom (premature rupture of membranes) with my ds, and now with twins...I'm high risk.

But that is because of my history of m/c. I see that you have had losses....(I'm so sorry about that) I would get the p4 checked anyway. Just because PCOS woemn tend for it to be low. Better safe than sorry.
