Default PCOS with a hump back
i was wondering do any of yall have a humpback.. i have one and its not just horrible.. you cant tell through tshirts but if you saw my bare back i have a pretty big hump at the top of it.. i had never heard of hump backs with PCOS but i had heard of it with Cushings Disease.. i read about Cushings and it sounds alot like me but it also sounds alot like PCOS too ha.. alot of the same symptoms so i was just wondering if any of yall experienced that too or know of anyone who does

Your doctor should have first tested you for Cushing's before diagnosing you with PCOS. Did that happen?

well i made an appt with my dr. and go see him next week.. i was reading more about cushings and all of the symptoms that arent like pcos i have.. and i know the hump isnt from being overweight.. ive had it since before i ever started gaining weight. i also have a cyst on my brain.. its not on the pituitary gland though. do you think that could cause anything like that even though its not on the pituitary gland

It is possible you have scoliosis. I have it in my thoracic and lumbar regions. You should see an orthopedist for a proper diagnosis!

Yeah, I have that, too. My doctor tested me for Cushings because I look, as she said, "Cushingoid." (Isn't that lovely?) But I don't have Cushings, just PCOS and possibly a slightly curved spine.

I have the hump at the top of my back,

My brother also had it till he started working out and getting adjusted by a chiropractor, His has completely gone away.

I was checked for Crushings. Came back negitive!!!
I'm all PCOS over weight and bd posture!

i dont think its scoliosis.. my back and everything looks fine.. its just at the very top like under my neck.. i go to the dr friday so as soon as i find out ill post

I've been diagnosed with PCOS since 2000 but have the same hump on my back like you describe. Just at the very top. I've always wondered about it but figured it was poor posture. Your post made me investigate Cushings a little today and I have a lot of the symptoms. I'm for sure asking my endocrinologist about it at my yearly appointment tomorrow.

I'll let you know what I find out. Thanks for posting!

Question pcos and scoliosis (NOT HUMPBACK)
Hi My Name Is Ashley I Am 18 Years Old I Got Diagnosed With Scoliosis In 2003 Well I Found Out That I Also Have Pcos In Fact I Found That Out About 3 To 4 Weeks Ago!!!! So Yeah You Can Have Pcos And Scoliosis Idk What The Causes Are Or If They Are Related In Any Way.the Way I See It Is Its Life
