i was wondering if, when a woman has signs of polycystic activity in her ovaries and some symptoms like mild acne and excess facial hair, but not the actual 'syndrome' as i have been told, i'm borderline pcos apparently, could i still develop other symptoms such as obesity in the future. My doc told me i dont have the metabolic condition of pcos but could i develop it in future? thanx

You should call your doctor and ask for a more clear explanation of why you have the symptoms you are experiencing.

BTW, now all women with PCOS deal with obesity. Generally speaking, your lifestyle more than 'pcos' will have more impact on your weight.
