Hi Ukpat999,

I just want to be certain if you mean whether having PCOS contributes to hairloss; causing thinning in the front?

If so that is what your asking, for many PCOS'rs, if not related to heredity, the answer is yes, testoterone and DHT contribute to hair loss associated with PCOS. Try using the search function in order to find medical intervention info, herbal remedies and how excercise can help with hairloss. You may find information to help with your hairloss or to slow it down...

I hope this is helpful to you...

Yes. With PCOS hair growth patterns tend to be a bit more like those of a man. That means that it often happens with PCOS that we may lose hair from our heads in the same pattern as men do, starting with balding at the temples. It also means that we tend to grow hair on our bodies in the same places men do and that we are liable to have moustache and beard growth.

However, because we are women most of us don't have either as much hair loss from our scalp or as much hair growth on our bodies or faces as men do. Some individuals may have these characterisitcs to the same extent as men, but for most of us we don't have either all the characteristics or have them to quite the same extent as men.
