Question PCOS and low hemoglobin levels

Hi there,
Just wondering if anyone has ever had low hemoglobin levels, but normal ferratin(sp?). I have recently changed doctors and she did some bloodwork just to have everything checked up and she said that I have low hemoglobin, but ferratin and B12 levels are normal. She said that I am anemic but she is not sure why. Do you think PCOS could be a reason for having low hemoglobin levels? She is also testing my thyroid T3 and T4 as she said this could be a contributing factor for low hemoglobin. Just curious if anyone has ever had this symptom show on bloodwork.
Thanks!

Thanks for responding Eva!
It was very strange, I went back to the Dr. and they think that the lab mislabeled my name on someone else's results!! They found a different set of results (that the Dr. didnt have this copy of the results when I spoke with her that time) that had a different Dr's requisition attached. These new results stated that I had normal hemoglobin but my B12 was very low! So she told me to take B12 vitamins to see if my body is absorbing the vitamin. Thank God that it's nothing too serious! They did take some more blood just to confirm but I feel much better about it now.
