Just a quick note for everyone. The PCOS Today Web site is up (*yea!!!!*).
Also, after much thought and discussion, I have decided to offer PCOS Today as a completely free publication, supported by affiliates and advertisers. SO, PLEASE visit PCOS Today at http://members.cox.net/pcostoday and sign up for your FREE subscription. It will be sent to you via e-mail. Just look for the "subscribe" link on the main page. Don't forget to visit the message boards, graciously hosted by DarkerViolet (a fellow cyster).
I know Im late on this (havent posted in a bit)...but I do think this is a wonderful Idea. One of the things I have learned alot about the internet is that the more poeple involved making contributions, the more information one has avaiable before them to be informed as much as possible. If I ever come across anything, I'll be sure to pass it on.
Its a great idea ....Kat stole my ideas ....menu section definetly ... also a Advice section too ... Good luck ..... you can count on us for more ideas

Please check out http://members.cox.net/pcostoday . A media kit and debut press release are up on the site. More content is planned as soon as I can get it up!
Hey Kat, how's the redesign process coming?
Thanks everyone! --- Linda Harvey, editor, PCOS Today
I just saw this thread for the first time! This is an amazing idea. I printed out the issue, and I'll come back to make comments/post ideas/etc.
Since it's a free newsletter, I'm assuming it's okay if I print out copies for a few friends and my doc (then hopefully she'll make copies for patients)?
Thanks so much for this!

As always, I look forward to your comments, questions, suggestions, ideas, thoughts, etc. I would love to hear from you...and I'm always looking for great story ideas!
i would love to have an up to date publication or newsletter about PCOS. I have purchased books on the subject before but have been disappointed because everything was information that i already new and nothing very helpful was offered.
A newsletter would be fantastic that could cover the previously mentioned ideas....
Last year (2005), I was able to produce two (what I thought were great) issues of PCOS Today. Then the fall semester hit and my life went absolutely nutty. I was teaching four college classes at two universities, my mom had a short-lived health issue arise, and it was just bad all around. I dropped the ball on the magazine, and I apologize. I'd like to get it up and moving again, and plan to move it to pcostodaymagazine.com (I have the shell ready) soon....but I need help. I need people who are experts in writing, advertising design, advertising sales, and anything else for that matter.
I will have another issue up in the next month, on the "new" site.
Until then, take care. Get in touch with me when you have a chance.
