I was watching a show on T.V. yesterday called Medical Mysteries Solved, and they were showing a Lady with all these unexplained symptoms, like missed AF, excess hair, Hair loss, skin tags, browns spots etc. It turns out that she has PCOS. I actually cryed watching it, thinking that I could have been me telling this story myself. I was so relieved that PCOS is starting to be talked about and acknowledge. I found it on YOU TUBE today, here's the link if your interested. What do you think?
I saw that a couple of years ago and cried too when I saw it. After seeing it I pushed to be tested for PCOS and got my diagnosis and now I'm on the right track.
Hearing the story sounds like other people narration of my life.

I saw this a year or two ago. Like you I was moved to tears and also really happy it was being talked about on TV. I wish they would cover it on those medical edition Datelines or 20/20's.

wow you know, I saw that show last summer and it made me push forward with getting tested and diagnosed after being told years earlier that I likely had it (a nurse midwife who was doing my pelvic exams then told me). That show made me realize that I wasn't just a freak, that I likely had a real medical condition. It changed my outlook completely. It's nice to see that some others here have had the same experience and have had their PCoS diagnosed because of that show.

PCOS was profiled on Dateline many years ago. It featured Christine DeZarne - the founder of PCOSA.

I remember seeing this a while back. I love watching medical mystery shows and the moment I heard her symptoms, my jaw dropped. I called my Boyfriend in and yelled out, "This chick has PCOS!! I JUST KNOW IT!!!" LOL I think that was the first time I had ever seen PCOS on tv, besides some of the Ladies in "Adoption Stories" having it. I was really happy it was out there for more people to see!
