i don't know if you wax yourself or if you go to a salon to get it done but i've had pimples on my face just from getting my eyebrows waxed at a salon. when i was in school to be an esthetician we learned how most salons double dip when waxing so the wax can basically be tainted. it's not hot enough to kill bacteria. sorry to be gross but imagine someone getting a bikini wax and the technician double dipping and then you come in afterwards and get facial waxing...
if you wax on your own and you have pimples it could be the type of wax you use or you may not be pulling the right way. also using a pre-wax solution and baby powder (to help the wax stick to the hair and not your skin)
also, if you use makeup i definatly recommend washing your brushes at least every other week. all that buildup and oil can stay in the brushes and cause pimples too.
