Default PCOS mentioned in "Super Size Me"
This may be old news but I just watched that movie for the first time last night and they were going over a list of things (I'm really not even sure what they were about because my kids were screaming)
But they mentioned IR and PCOS in their big list of things that can go wrong with people who eat alot of fast food or something like that.

Please correct me if anything I said is wrong but I heard them say both IR and PCOS and was giddy LOL

I always forget that PCOS was mentioned in that movie. I was too grossed out by the food part!

Really? PCOS is caused by eating too much fast food? I highly doubt it, i started showing symptoms before i would eat any fast food at all.

I know that fast food can cause IR because of the type of food it is, but I wonder about the PCOS.....

i dont think fast food can cause PCOS -- PCOS is something you are born with -- i think the food can effect IR but thats because of the type of food it is -- so many women suffer from PCOS and it is only startign to appear in the media now and i just wish if they were going to speak about it then they would do so accuretly

It never said fast food causes PCOS...it was just on a big list of stuff they mentioned...along with Insulin Resistance.
Like I said I wasnt paying close attention but I heard both mentioned in the movie and thought I'd bring it up. Whatev.
