I came across this article, and it does not have a lot of information in there that would be new to most of us - but it is a great step to getting PCOS out into the public eye! Kudos to MSNBC!!
I am also sending along to a few people (my mother, et.) who seem to think most of this is in my head!
WOW, what a great article. Thanks for putting it out there. At least some people maybe made more aware of what is going on and not thinking that women across the world are just making up their conditions.
GREAT JOB!!!!

In God's time..... This is what the Lord asks of you; only this, to act justly, to love tenderly, and walk humbly with your God. Micah 6:8
Thanks for the heads-up. The only problem with showing the article to DH is that he would gloss everything except the exercise part. That would be the only part he would understand. He believes that if I exercise more, all the rest of the problems would go away.

i think it's great that articles about pcos are being put out there for the general public to view..... however, the article stated that pcos is "a condition that remains relatively silent when you are thin" ..... hah! if only that were true! if so called "good sources" of information like msnbc are trying to rasie public awareness about this condition ( and i'm very glad they are) they need to make sure their sources are correct...... i have never been overweight, yet have suffered with the acne, excess hair and, unfortunately, infertility..... when i finally did get pregnant, i miscarried at 12 weeks..... i'm sure many other "thin cysters" have similar stories that they could share as well
When I saw the headline of the article, the first thing I thought of was PCOS. I didn't have a chance to read it, so I was glad to see the link on your post. Thanks for sharing this!
