I posted this under "Media Sightings" but I thought I could give you a connection to that thread.

If any of you are like me you have someone in your family that doesn't quite believe you about PCOS. I cried when this came on and was ecstastic that I could email the story to everyone in my family. My DH held my hand the entire time and said "Look honey its you".

I am writing an email tonight to members of my family basically saying this is what I have. Its real. If you or someone else you know has a problem like this please get help and educate yourself on how to get better.

For me it gives me peace of mind that I am not alone and those closest to me understand that.

Wow - what an awesome news piece. I live in New Zealand and I've never seen anything on PCOS on tv (have seen it mentioned briefly in a few women's magazines, but considering PCOS affects approx 1 in 10 women, you'd think it'd be plastered all over the media!!). It's great that I could view it online! Thanks for the link DeeAnnD!!

Weight Goal: 154 pounds/70kg
(143 pounds/65kg if I'm lucky :p )
