Hi,
I'm so sorry things are piling on you right now! What a good way to express it, that you feel you're in a bubble and everyone is just carrying on around you. I hope your partner will be willing to learn about your PCOS and support you. Of course all of us here will be glad to listen too.
It can be so hard to watch other people (like the lady upstairs from you) who remind us what PCOS has done to us! I know I still struggle not to envy ladies with thick hair (mine is thinning), or who are skinny (I'm not) or who don't have to take pills every day to help regulate their period or try to have a baby.
Have you seen the doctor yet? I can tell you about my PCOS (so far): I had irregular periods, thinning hair, overweight, depression, diabetes. I take metformin which has really helped with lots of PCOS symptoms. I also take Prozac for the depression, and birth control pills to help with my cycle.
I hope this helps, and if you ever need to talk, please email me or send me a private message. Hang in there!
Jenny
