absolutely. Iīve had this officially diagnosed since I was 19, when I follow a diabetic diet I stay at a nice weight... if I donīt it doesnīt take long to gain. But, that is just part of it I suppose. I have had a successful pregnancy. I have also had several miscarriages. But, it can and does happen. I have to pay a lot more attention to my body grooming... waxing, shaving, and of course the acne.. We have to do a lot more up keep than those without. That is all. Albeit a major pain. And when you are healthy you can conceive. So yeah, not the end of the world, just another way to live fortunately it is not a worse condition.
Just to say thanks for doing the video clip.
I agree with everything you say, ie, eat like a diabetic, and exercise.
Alcohol a no no totally agree, have had a few too many over the festive season, so I will cut that out asap.
Exercise!!!! I love it but unfortunately I have M.E. so unable to exercise, BUT doing a little yoga here and there, and hoping in the new year my body will get stronger.
We are all different with regards to our symptoms, but I reckon if we can get our weight under control, it may help with all the other issues. I am not obese but need to lose about 30lbs to be a healthy weight, and to be happy about myself.
Easier said than done but I guess we can all give it a try in the new year, so good luck girls, I will be back letting you all know how I've been doing.
happy holidays
Hi,
I am about to turn 29 and Iīve had pcos for many many years now. I was diagnosed when i was 21 but im sure Ive had it since i was a child. I want to tell you that its not an easy road but its not impossible either. Its hard to be positive at times and depression can get the best of you. just ask me lol
but you are clearly too young to be feeling this negative about life. Having children may not be impossible and the best solution for a better chance in having a child in the future is to start taking care of yourself now. Because later it may be too late. Donīt wait until its too late to make a difference, donīt let a diagnosis or negative people put u down and donīt give up on yourself. If one thing doesnt work go to the next thing. but keep on living. Ask your doctor about going on metformin, anf birth control and ask him or her to help with a new diet suitable for pcos. limiting yourself wont be easy, believe me. but its also not impossible. be strong, and when you start feeling your lowest, open the door and go for a walk while listening to your MP3. taken care and I wish u the best of luck. Remember.... this life is what we decide to make of it. You have a whole life ahead of urself.

Thans for the positive video! I found out that I have pcos in the last few months and Iīm just starting to learn how to deal with it. If you could give me some more guidelines, i would be very grateful.
I really appreciate this video. I was just diagnosed with PCOS yesterday, actually, and I am trying to stay positive. I really does make me mad that I will always have to work harder to lose weight and maintain a healthy lifestyle, but I always say that God knew I could handle this and I will. I think a diabetic diet is the way to go. I just need to learn what this is first
