 PCOS/PCOD Is there a differance?
I was diagnosed years ago with PCOS shortly there after I found this site a little over a year ago a friend of mine was diagnosed with PCOD and when she talked to her doc he said only diffarance is the name its really the same thing. Tonight I'm in a chat room (this one) and someone is talking about PCOD and I say that I have PCOS but only diffarence is the name and I am told PCOD is worse than PCOS. Well I had also talked a bit with my friends doc she brought me along one visit since I would no more what questions to ask then she would and my history was brought up several times and he told me mine was a much worse case...which it is as I'm supposed to be on all kinds of meds to treat it and all she had to do was change her diet a little. Well I was like really that is not what I was told....then I am accused of either lying or seeing a doctor who doesn't know anything. So is there a differance? If so what is the differance cause all I have ever heard before is its just in the name.
