Gosh, Katie, I'm not sure about that either. Usually high BP in a thin person is due to genetics, so I'm surprised no one in your family has high BP. There are some other causes, usually anatomical things related to your kidneys, but I would expect your pressure to be a little higher than that. How many times has your bp been high? Multiple readings over a period of weeks? Do you drink coffee? Are you nervous when you have it read? Yours isn't terribly high, but I'd certainly keep an eye on it and talk to your doctor about it, especially if it has been on more than 1 or 2 occasions.
