Okay, ladies... something has been bugging me. Do most actually say out the letters "P.C.O.S." or are people like me, and say "pee-coss"...?

Whats the general consensus?

I say P.C.O.S, I've never heard it the other way, and saying the whole thing is just too wordy.

I use both, p.c.o.s and p-cos. I use p-cos when reading and talking with my dh but p.c.o.s when talking with other people about it.

The letters are the only way I've every heard anybody talk about it, so that's what we use.

I've only every used the letters. It never occurred to me it could be pronounced "pee-cos" before reading this thread.

I call it P.C.O.S. It would get on my nerves to hear someone calling it pee-cos. Not to insult anyone who does that, it's just one of my pet peeves. For example, One of the banks we used to do business with where I worked was called K-25. One of my employees always called it K - two -five instead of K - twentyfive like it's meant to be pronounced. It grated on my nerves, but I never said anything. I know that's kind of anal, but I can't help it.
